Baci 101
Baci Beads™ are part of a group of beads that (led by Pandora) are the most popular fashion jewelry line in the world… probably of all time. Our line is a non-silver line, to keep the price point low. Our claim to fame is that the beads are silver brass based. So they will wear like solid silver but will not tarnish like silver. The beads will still have all the great properties of a 'copper colored' brass. Stones are less likely to come out, than if set in silver. The beads will have the same definition and thus look virtually the same as solid silver and gold.
Brass by itself is usually hypo-allergenic and does not contain nickel, lead, zinc, cadmium, etc. The overlay we use is the same as "Brighton" literally. The company that overlays for Brighton opened a factory in China and we have secured the overlay to be done in this new factory. So the beads will wear very well but when they "turn" they will look like a solid silver. Average prices of silver in retail is approximately $35.00. Average price of our beads to you, approximately $2.25. Virtually all of our beads are threaded which is unusual for plated beads. We are the only company in the world to provide threaded handmade Murano glass for plated. They are all in the GL series of glass. We do have a less expensive non-threaded glass (GLN series). These are machine made and are not threaded (will not thread onto threaded bracelets). The bracelets made are not set in a silver brass, but soon the attachments will be set in a silver brass.

Bracelets | Threaded
Our bracelet is the most popular application. So if you decide to use a bracelet, know to choose a bracelet size that is at least ½ inch size larger than you would normally wear. To accommodate the beads, the average bracelet would be 7.5” and it is always better to be too big than too small. Only choose 7.0” bracelets if the person is fairly petite and 6.5” if very petite. 8.0” is ok for average to above average and only 8.5” if above average in size.
Let's choose the bracelet. Some bracelets are Pandora style and are threaded. So the beads will screw on/thread on. You may choose a "clip/stopper/jaw" to keep the beads in place on the bracelets. The bracelets to choose that are threaded are either: "BBRAC" or the leatherette "B904"

Bracelets | Non-Threaded
The other choice is a bracelet where the beads roll on and "O" rings are supplied with it to keep the beads in place. The two attachment choices are "Lobster claw" (sku "BLOB") or "Toggle" (sku BTOG). The toggle bracelet can easily be chosen ½ inch larger again than a person would normally wear (size 8.0 would be fine) as you need to pull the "T" thru the "O" and when the bracelet is full requires more length.

Necklaces
The next most popular choice of application is the necklace. Either the chain is "BLOB-W" or a "BBRAC". The "BBRAC" choice is more expensive as the chain is a tighter and heavier chain. The most common length is 18”. Some like 16” and some like 20” (only available in the "BLOB" style).
Lariats
The Lariat is a another very popular choice of application, either in the leather "LEATH-LARI" or the new rhodium "MK-LARI" choose either the 20” or 22” sizes.

Enamels
Enamels are hand painted, clay based beads which also are great design elements as they are smaller in size (than glass beads), and of course add great color. These "wear" extremely well and have a solid core. We've never had a return due to the wear of paint. To view the other enamel designs please see Enamels in Baci Beads section. Glass
Next step, choose glass beads for color and also for function (keeping the rhodium beads off the wrist). Even silver companies like “Pandora" suggest the use of glass even though our rhodium beads are in effect "solid" you want to protect the overlay as much as possible.
Glass is either threaded (gl series) and is handmade Murano style glass to thread on threaded bracelets or unthreaded which is less expensive and slightly smaller than threaded (gln series). Some of the more popular glass include:

Unthreaded Glass
Unthreaded glass is machine made and will be consistent in color. They are less expensive, are lighter in weight and slightly smaller than the threaded glass. The GL1700 birthstone series are very popular. For color and for "Star Consultant" (see gln1700-4), You'll notice 3 have stars in their design.
